The truth in the old axiom, Love makes the World Go Round, applies to all aspects of life, not only to...

Rejuvenate Your Life!

Its A New Year, time to renew and assess how you can more fully enjoy and balance your life. Year 2004 and the Chinese New Year of 4702. The year of the Wood Monkey with its promise of renewal and change. A Monkey year to give full rein to your creativity and imagination, and this Monkey year is coupled with the Wood element representing a time of rapid development, idealism and youthful innocence. Lets use these characteristics to rid ourselves of the behaviors and attitudes that dont serve us any more and start fresh Be it a career, relationship, or ourselvesthat we are looking to enhance.
Here are some ideas that will give you tools to achieve a happier and more balanced life:

1. Discover Your Life Mission
First you have to know what it is that you truly desire before you can focus on getting it. Go into nature, journal, meditate, reflect and listen to your inner guidance. Ask yourself, what is your mission in life? What is your reason for being? Your life mission is the North point in your personal compass. Use it to guide you in your life decisions.

Now that you have your mission, move towards it gracefully by being fully present in each situation. Remember your purpose and focus on that instead of what you hope is going to happen in each moment.

Knowing what your unique gifts are will help guide you to what is going to satisfy your souls longing to create in the world. Make a list of your assets, your innate talents and attributes, and use them to first achieve your personal fulfillment. In acting from your highest aspirations you will also enrich the world.

2. Tell the Truth
Tell the truth to yourself as well as to others. We all know horror stories of corporate heads who have not told the truth which have consequently brought down huge companies and resulted in financial ruins for many innocent people. The lies that we tell ourselves are just as harmful to ourselves as those the corporate chiefs told the world. Facing the circumstances honestly even when it is unpleasant gives you the opportunity to fix it then rather than waiting nervously for something or someone to uncover the truth and to avoid the subsequent scramble to try and make it right.

When we are so busy remembering the various stories we tell ourselves and others, we are not using all our energy and brainpower to create the life that we want. Tell the truth to yourself and others, youll be amazed at how powerful that is.

3. Make Partners
If your goals are big and meaningful, you need help, make partners! Enlist people in your business, your family, your friends and community to support you in your goals. Find out and show them how they can also benefit from your mission, engage them in the dream. When people see how your mission can also benefit them and the world, you will be supported in making your dreams come true!

4. Take Calculated Risks
Dare to take big steps forward. We can never know everything before we proceed, there are uncertainties in life. To move ahead in life and to achieve anything of value you will have to take risks and yes, potentially make a big mistake. Do your best to plan and prepare for what you want, seek help and inner guidance, and then proceed courageously and joyously knowing that you have already developed a contingency plan in case you need it. You can learn from the situation and adjust to the circumstances and come out ahead and wiser.

5. Stand Up Your Ideas
If you believe in something, stay firm in your convictions. Free yourself from the tyranny of denying yourself what you truly believe in and in what you deeply desire. Many people and the media around you are all too eager to project their ideas on you and to tell you what to do and think. Listen to your inner guidance and also be open to outside wisdom.

Pursue your dreams and stand up for what you think. Youll sleep better and feel confident that you are doing whats right for you. Do the necessary research and work to make sure you are on the right track. Integrate all the information and act from a centered place. Most important, enjoy and learn from the process!

Well done! You have now rejuvenated yourself with a transformed sense of confidence and style. As you move forward, rejoice that you have begun adopting new behaviors and thoughts to create a joyous life. You deserve to take a moment to acknowledge your own courage and determination in making a positive difference in your life and in the world. Enjoy it now!
