Steve: In this film you deal with a lot of stereotypes. I just have to congratulate you (John Cho) for being an Asian guy who got to kiss a girl on film!

Kal: Yeah, that's huge.

Steve: What happened to you? (points at Kal)

John: (Laughter)

Steve: We saw your ass. (to Kal)

Kal: You saw my ass. I think it's happening in the sequel.

John: The ass lead directly to the no girl thing.

Kal: I think so, Harold is more relationshipy, Kumar is kinda more like the player.

Steve: (Laughter) He is a player. Hes the one scouting out the girls and stuff.

Steve: Did you guys know each other before? You guys play off each other so well.

Kal: I am a really good guy to get along with very easily.

Steve: What about John?

John: Well, I am a phenomenal actor.

Kal: So it kinda worked itself out.

John and Kal: (Snicker)

John: We didn't know each other before we did it. We had to hang out a lot before the movie started. We tried to do that in Toronto, while we were rehearsing, because we actually shot the end of the movie first. So we wanted to try to get along with each other before we shot the film.

Steve: You guys have been traveling and living close to each other for how long? Four weeks?

John: We're right in the middle of it.

Steve: It seems like you guys will be working together a lot longer too. It seems like you guys are setting yourselves up for a sequel. Is that on the horizon?

Kal: We're signed on for two more sequels. One is called Harold and Kumar Go to Amsterdam .

Steve: This film is getting a lot of comparisons to Cheech and Chong . Do you guys feel that's a good comparison for the next generation?

John: Well, we're a lot better.

Kal: We're not in jail.

John: Ohhh, that was wrong.

Kal: Well, we havent seen Cheech and Chong . Well at least I havent.

John: Its a great compliment. Instead of just being two actors in a comedy, the fact that they are comparing us to teams, great comedy teams. It's an enormous compliment.

Kal: Definitely.

Steve: Are there any stereotypes that weren't addressed in this film? That you might address in the second?

Kal: No, not really.

John: I'm ready to move on.

Kal: I think the film itself is about these two American guys who go on a journey, so any of the stereotypical stuff just flavored the script. I loved toNo that's it. (looks at John) Im looking to you to save me.

John: Oh, how about the stereotype that Indians have enormous nipples. You know that one?

Kal: No, I dont know that one. My nipples actually extend from here to my knee, and I lactate heavily, heavily.

John: Wow, weird. (laughter)

Steve: There are a lot of great cameos in this film. I saw some of your friends from Off Centre and Ryan Reynolds from Van Wilder . Did you guys bring them in yourself?

Kal: We asked them to come in, and the studio was also looking for some cameos, people who were recognizable and it just kinda worked out. It's nice to work with friends.

John: There are a bunch of great ones. Who have we got? Neil Patrick Harris.

Kal: Christopher Malone.

John: Christopher Malone.

Kal: Fred Willard.

John: Fred Willard.

Kal: Are you going to repeat everything I say?

Steve: Thanks guys!
